Our celebration of the Hebrew Scriptures (and more importantly what they reveal) continues with this fresh freedom-loving foray into all things Gospel.
The show commences with a big announcement regarding a GR vocabulary change. The guys go deep about how vitally important are the legitimacy of the Hebrew Scriptures.
Michael went off! “If the Hebrew Scriptures are not valid, then the Cross is not valid! If we miss the Hebrew Scriptures, we miss our ability to end all war. The Hebrew Scriptures are all about conflict resolution. There is no conflict resolution in Christianity or Mysticism. The ultimate conflict was resolved at the Cross. Throw away the Hebrew Scriptures, and you throw away our ability to study war no more!”
Michael and Daniel rehearse our current understanding of the mirror comparison visa vise imputed righteousness and imputed sin. We also take a long look at being MADE sin and righteous.
Then we review a message sent to us regarding the difference between debate and dialogue. We examine our methods of research which includes debate and dialogue of doctrines — which to some seems like “bad” behavior.

Then we learn why, as Michael began to share the actual Gospel Peace and Grace, someone commented, “Wherever Mike Williams goes, churches close.” Also, why over the years pastors seem to have been the Gospel’s “primary victims”.

These secrets of former “Word of Faith” pastors expose the lies they shared personally and falsehoods they saw all around them.
Daniel tells about studying Benny Hinn’s ministry in order to get miracles in his service, times when he and other pastors shared honestly about “it” not working and confesses he told many lies himself.
Why do honest men and women, who sincerely want to help others, tell such devastating lies?
Michael lets us know how he got caught up in “hypnosis” while preaching, regretting what he had said even before he sat down and about “seeing” angles.

220408 Confessions of Two Ex-Word of Faith Pastors
The show opens with the guys recapping our newfound understanding about the difference between imputed righteousness which came through personal faith and the whole world being made righteous through the faith of Jesus Christ.
Michael shares a brief conversation he had with a small group of pastors who have been studying this understanding and their response and says some things which will be shocking to some ears.
“To know your belief is not holding your world together, is freedom indeed…The moment you have the ‘freedom’ to blame someone else, even if it’s their ‘fault’, please don’t take it. Please don’t transfer the blame. Because as soon as you do that, you have lost your power to do anything about it!”.
The boys are challenged by Mel Martin regarding Daniel’s comment that we are no longer “sheep who have gone astray”. We have not been forgiven! We never needed to be!
Mel’s challenge opened up a whole new world of understanding to better explain the Gospel. Michael also uses the American Revolution and his ancestors involvement in it, as a beautiful analogy of our position in Christ.
We don’t need to start where the characters portrayed in the Scriptures started. Why? Because we are not where they were. We were NOT redeemed or made righteous. They were! Jesus didn’t die for OUR griefs, sorrorws or iniquities! We were born FREE! Hallelujah! ALL glory to Christ!

A revealing discussion on the mental illness of organized religion opens this phenomenal episode. Michael, as always, calls it like it is. “They’re righteous and holy, but they are stupid!”
Early on, Daniel chimes in with “Humans didn’t only change at the Cross. God changed the way he is living, because now he is living through us”. This led to a give-and-take on the miraculous world we now live in including the coming miracles of kidney transplants from pigs to people (which may help Michael), self-driving vehicles and many others.

If you have a narrow view that you need to see the Gospel through, a particular verse or two in the New Testament and you have to shoehorn everything into that, shame on you”, Michael said jokingly.

Then we backed-up our study through 1 Corinthians 15 to emphasize the comparison between Adam and Jesus, specifically concerning what Adam had authority over and why Jesus’ entry was necessary. We agree to a degree with Mirror Bible and Global Grace Seminary about Adam’s experience in the Garden.The first man DID indeed lose something when he partook of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil! Adam lost brain power!!!
The discussion leads to some wonderful questions then answers!
Is the Gospel capable of restoring unlimited brain power?
Could the restoring of brain power reduce warfare?
What is the difference between the work of the Cross and the “work” of the Gospel?
We then reach the conclusion of Paul’s sermon in 1 Corinthians 15 – this is a done deal! Although not all writers of the New Testament agreed.
We are, however, delighted to report the Scriptures do agree with Paul, not the others. This is not surprising since Paul was the only apostle who was a scholar of the Scriptures. He was planted firmly in the Scriptures, too. We highly recommend you be planted there, as well.
“God relieved his anger at the Cross.
Maybe we can resolve our anger at the Cross, too?”
That’s how Michael began this week’s new, hot-off-the-presses Powercast.
He and Daniel confront the theory of “Original Design” – that Adam was created “perfect” and then “fell” to a lower state of being.
Our Boys examine this idea from Christianity, which states Adam was perfect and his nature changed with Jesus being the answer for humans if we meet certain criteria. Then the Guys look at Christian Mysticism, which postulates Adam was made perfect, remained perfect, but only fell to a lower mindset. They say all Jesus did was show humanity that Adam (and his lineage) were perfect all along.
