It all sprang forth because of a new post about “the blood” from Don Keathley.
Among the voluminous provocative statements MLW proclaims are:
- I finally got it!
- You want to know why every knee will bow and every tongue will confess (Jesus is Lord)? Because they’re going to fine out they are, and always have been, righteous, holy and perfect!
- This is NOT a requirement. It is a result!
- You don’t know Jesus is Lord!
- Jesus as a ‘slot machine’ in the sky makes God and Jesus seem stupid!
- If we don’t escape Christianity’s ‘personal lord and savior’, we are doomed to repeat the last 2000 years of human history!
- God doesn’t feed hungry children!
- God doesn’t heal sick people!
- You take away my ‘abomination’, you take away my salvation!
- In that condemnation is salvation!

- The last 2000 of Christianity hasn’t helped anything!
- The world has become civilized despite Christianity!
- If you treat everyone equal, your church ain’t going to like you!
DTR responds, “Once again, Christianity got it absolutely backwards!”
All this, and lots more, before the guys get into this week’s examination of the commandments of Christ. This one is a biggie – “to love God with all of your heart, soul and mind”.
