The study through Galatians continues this week in chapter two. Paul calls those who mixed law and grace “Pseudo-Brothors” and Gospel Perverts! Michael Lilborn Williams and Daniel Thomas Route continue to discover the great division between James, Peter, and John and the Apostle Paul.
Paul proclaimed that he went to Jerusalem to face these three men (by name) because he knew his gospel differed from theirs. After this meeting he confronts them all again (specifically Peter) concerning their hypocrisy!

Hi Mike,
I use a Newberry Bible which helps with proper tenses etc but the quotation marks in Galations 2v14 finish at the end of v16 in that version.
Concerning James assuming the throne after the death of Jesus and seeing himself as the heir it has always fascinated me that in Mt chapter 1v17 there are indeed 14 generations in the first two cases but only 13 up to Jesus, son of Joseph. That is because it is Christ that is the 14th generation and Christ is the many membered body of the church and not Jesus son of Joseph.
