You’ve responded and we’ve listened! In this week’s Powercast Michael, Don, and Daniel go over listener responses to our recent discussion on the anger and wrath of God.
Some are saying that the Scriptures are God’s words to us but they are filtered through man’s perspective of God. Others suggest the Law was not given by God but rather given by man, Moses or even the Angels. Some of our critics are saying we are suggesting a masochistic God who thirsts for violence. And lastly, some are claiming the work of the cross was necessary for Israel only.
Michael Lilborn Williams suggests that many are trying to hide Old Testament characteristics of God and are trying to “Save God”.
Also, as you tune in this week you will hear us confess “we were wrong!” Listen to find where we erred.
When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt. Hoseas 11:1 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son. Matthew 2:15 This a prophesy about our Lord Jesus Christ and God called Jesus “Israel” There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.Galatians 3:28 There is not physical Israel anymore.
at 23:35 explain why you say sin started in heaven; followed by saying Jesus died for your sin by taking away the law. If sin came by the law then your saying the law existed in heaven?
If we look at sin as being the human condition rather than being a separate act ?
we cannot be saved from our created human condition; you do not get “saved” and become a changed person -NO- your standing with God has changed, not you.

Separate thought:
You have very clearly exposed this “GOD” as a schizophrenic psychopath (my opinion).
-the same prophet says but a savior is coming to save us from what? Well to my knowledge that everybody (all) is gonna be destroyed in the war of the jews. But a Saviour came and told his listeners to flee the city/land. He saved a lot of people (sheep) that listened to his voice. They had to flee the city/land, but I can hear them ask, but what about our sacrifices for sin? His answer: no more sacrifice needed, the kingdom is within, where ever you go
