Keep safe you two. Again Thankyou for helping to keep the thread of truth weave it’s way through the Bible giving us such a beautiful understanding of Christ’s finished work. Love
Tremendous study in Colossians, on Paul’s determined efforts, for which he suffered mightily, to bring to his audience the full comprehension in their minds one thing…that the work of Christ is complete in them. Paul essentially tells the Colossians to get their minds right. Let this mind be in you, that was also in Christ Jesus. The only place you can be alienated from God is in your mind. Get your mind around the truth that you are completely and eternally redeemed, righteous, holy and reconciled to God by the work of the cross.
It’s almost 11:00 pm, I get up very early lately and I should have been asleep hours ago. I’m trying to find ” He is a just God who judges with equality” or whatever the wording is. I’m looking at the online bible, JKV. Nothing comes up saying what I am asking.
I want to see if in context it means He judged us all as equal. He did anyway but I’m hoping that the” with equality” bit is further proof. I love to email my family this stuff. They believe it but like most christians, they are just too lazy to change. Time to sleep
