Now that we have discovered the source of three major Abrahamaic religious systems (the misreading of Abraham believed YHWH and it was accounted to him (YHWH not Abram) as righteousness), the dismantling of these systems is easy!
After reviewing what we learned about the “Second Temple” last week and its lack of any spiritual significance – we go into this week explaining exactly why. None of the five major functions of the original temple (the ark of the covenant, the Shekinah glory, the ministry of the Holy Spirit/prophecy, the consuming fire, and the urim and thummim) were active in the “Second Temple”, NONE! Why? Because YHWH had left the temple! YHWH is the function of the temple and without him the temple remains just a religious building.
We look to historical Jewish writings that reveal the Jews knew these functions were lacking in the “Second Temple” and they tell what (non-spiritual) functions they replaced YHWH with! These functions became the foundation of Judaism and Judeo-Christian (and later Islamic) religious practices in existence today.
