During the production of this week’s Powercast we experienced some technical difficulties that resulted in lower audio quality. We were able to salvage the show and still bring you a fresh dose of the C.P.R. of the Gospel.
We pick up this week reminding our listeners that we are still in the series on “The Law Is Spiritual” even while teaching on Abraham because this story in Genesis is contained within the law (Torah). All of the Torah is Spiritual, not just the covenantal commandments. Michael reminds us of the difference between covenantal commandments and fence law commandments or as Paul called them “the law of commandments contained in ordinances”.
Then Ethan takes us into an understanding of how love fulfilled (past tense) all of the law! Love isn’t something we DO to fulfill the law. It is fulfilled IN us. Daniel is reminded of all the messages he preached on loving God with all our heart, soul, and strength and loving your neighbor as yourself — he admits he was preaching perhaps the most legalistic message one could teach!
