The virgin birth, the baptism of Christ, the transfiguration on the mountain, all the miracles of Christ, the cross and the resurrection from the dead are all events witnessed by people, yet according to John 12 and the Hebrew Scriptures, none of these events created any “believers”. In fact these events without the definition given by the Hebrew Scriptures and left to man’s interpretation creates, endless belief systems and 46,000 denominations (and growing). This week we show how Gospel Hermeneutics corrects man’s interpretations and creates a unified interpretation of all events defined by the Hebrew Scriptures.
Then we look at the Eastern Orthodox Church’s Hermeneutics, which looks rather similar to Catholicism and Protestantism’s Hermeneutics with just a couple “tweaks”.
