If one has any affinity and respect for Jesus Christ, how did they come to that conclusion? Over the decades, here at the Gospel Revolution, we have relied progressively on the incredible accuracy of the Hebrew Scriptures to find ourselves more respectful for and in awe of God’s plan completely fulfilled in Christ. Like all writings, these are, of course, most effectively studied and taught in their context. Which context? In the context of their entirety, understanding their purpose, their timetable and (perhaps most critically) what Christ had to say about them.
This is how we have been able to unscramble the Revelation, the pseudo graphical add-ons in the New Testament Writings, and to Set the Record Straight about these ancient, holy texts.

In discussing a most recent post from Francios du Toit regarding the blood of Jesus, and where he states Jesus was the incarnate creator of the Universe, Michael asks, “Who told you that?!” Then he states, “In my mind, the Mirror Bible is no more legitimate than the Mormon Bible.”
Understanding why this is so true is really going to help you. The disparaging of the work of Christ by people who say they love, appreciate or respect Jesus is expounded upon to the benefit of our souls, to be sure.
Then the boys continue our series on “The Commands of Christ”. This time they delve into “Take his yoke upon us for his burden is light”. What burden do we carry? How is Christ’s yoke lighter? What is the context of this command? Is it applicable for us today?
