If you ever have wondered who’s prayers get answered, who’s don’t and how “spiritual” experiences play into our day-to-day lives (and we know you have or you wouldn’t be reading this), this is one Powercast you will want to listen to and then share with your fellow sojourners.

Starting with Daniel greeting those listening in the year 2077 (when he will be 90) and Michael talking about his and Paul’s respective apartments in Rome, we learn about Paul comparing homosexuality to circumcision, his end-of-life house arrest, and what he used to teach from during his forced residence. Was is it his own significant “spiritual” experiences.

Here is what Michael had to say about spiritually-applied experiences. “I will never, ever question your personal experiences. But I will never, ever live my life based on your experiences…We, like everyone else, could build a doctrine around our experiences. We just choose not to.” The stories in this portion alone are worth listening for.

However, these 87 minutes get significantly meatier as the guys move on to Jesus’ 16th Commandment in our series. This one on: Asking, Seeking and Knocking.

Who is the one supposed to ask, seek, and knock? When we ask, seek, and knock, are at least some of OUR prayers answered? When did Jesus ever ask, seek, and knock? What are we asking, seeking and knocking for? These questions, and a bunch more, are asked and answered.

“If you’re offended by Christ, his blood, the virgin birth, creation (and the Hebrew Scriptures), you will be offended by the Gospel Revolution,” affirms Michael.

Well, get ready to be either offended or saved. Your choice, as always.
