Will you look with us?
This week’s Powercast is all about the story. You can disagree with the story but nobody has the power to change the story. But that is exactly what Mirror Bible, Global Grace Seminary, and the Christian Mystics are trying to do.
Michael Lilborn Williams and Daniel Thomas Rouse are not willing to stand by and allow anyone to reshape the story! This week they examine once again Isaiah 51 and hold true to the storyline. Where some try to take a few words from one verse to rewrite the narrative, they fit those few words (the rock from which you were hewn) into the story, and a beautiful story it is.

Hi Mike and Daniel.
I think you missed what I was saying in our phone conversation concerning the pit from which we were dug.
You talked about Joseph of Arimathea giving up his burial place for Christ. That also fits well, but during our conversation I was referring to Joseph the son of Jacob.
When he was betrayed by his brothers and thrown into a pit. It was Judah’s idea to sell him for 20 pieces of silver just as Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. The rest of his story up until the reunion of the brothers near the end of Genesis is the story of Christ being formed (Salvation of the soul) in us. Joseph down in Egypt is the seed of Abraham in us. It leads to the realization of Christ in us the hope of glory. That is the reunion where Joseph reveals himself and tells his brothers that they are blameless.
Daniel, you stated that Sarah was not your mother,.. But she is.
Gal 4:25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
Gal 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
Sarah is the new covenant.
Just keeping you guys honest.
