On this week’s Power-laden Powercast, Michael Lilborn Williams and Don Beres Bartlett dive head first into the Book of Hebrews. The articulation of the Creator’s and our oneness is so wonderfully evident. However, as always, we must get past the tradition, misrepresentation, faulty translations and outright treachery of religious tradition.
For example in the “King Jimmy” (as Don likes to call it), Hebrews 1:3 reads, “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high”. Sounds lovely, doesn’t it? And it is! Still, the guys discovered “the Majesty on high” actually means the reality of our unity and oneness in him!
Jesus, having cleansed humanity from sin, now has taken up residency in that oneness and in EVERY person’s heart, (whether they believe or not!)
What an honor it is for us in the Gospel Revolution to know these things, to have the opportunity to teach such magnificence and share it with the entire world!
Good News? Good News!!!
Mmmm mmmmm mmmmm
Feeling more st one with my brothers and sisters. Opening the secret garden doors and there I see all I am one with more clearly than before. Thankyou my friends my brothers. Totally touched an area of oneness understanding. Thankyou for doing what you do.
I am now officially hooked on the Tuesday and Friday teachings. Love and hugs
Mark 10:17-18 As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. “Good teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 18″Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good-except God alone.
Does this verse contradicts the conversation that good is the enemy of perfect?
Luke 22:69 But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God.”
How does this fit in with the proposal that God and Jesus are one and in all of us?
