You have been moved up in hierarchy of things. No longer a little lower han the angels – but now one with He who acknowledges us as His equals.
Grace, mercy, and peace (to all), from God our Father, and our Lord “Jesus Christ”. Mike & Don: Notice these things:
– “Christ Jesus” in Heb 3:1 is NOT “Jesus Christ” in Heb 10 – 13. Only “Jesus Christ” (grace & truth) is the “same” yester-day, and to-day, and for ever. “Christ Jesus” is NOT the same, and only occurs from Acts 19:4 to 1Pet 5:14, Never before Nor after. So…
– When Saul became Paul (Acts 13), then Paul went through another change from “Christ Jesus” (Acts 19:4) to “Jesus Christ” (Acts 28:31).
– So in Romans-Hebrews Paul always turns “Christ Jesus” around to “Jesus Christ” in every epistle, including Hebrews.
– Phil 2:5-11 begins with “Christ Jesus”, but ends with every tongue should confess “Jesus Christ” is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
– 1Tim 2:5, in greek, reveals “Christ Jesus” as the mediator “man” = ‘anthropos’ = “liar” in Rom 3:4; is “between” God and men. CJ mediation (still separation) is NOT JC reconciliation (union). It’s why Gal 3:20 said a mediator is not of one, but God is one.
– God hath “reconciled” us to himself by “Jesus Christ” (not Christ Jesus): 2Cor 5:18.
– “Jesus Christ” is NOT a mediator of a new “covenant” of an OT LORD, but of a new “testament” of God. Why? A new “covenant” still has 2 houses, but the household of God is 1 house
– ALL who will live godly(child-ish) in “Christ Jesus” shall “suffer” (as Paul did in Acts): 2Tim 3:12. So man up to “Jesus Christ” mode.
The “grace” of our Lord “Jesus Christ” [be/is] “with you all”. Amen.
This is fabulous truth, it may have flown over some peoples heads but it didn’t fly over their hearts as a truth and a seed of the truth in them, after over 20 years of listening to the truth of the gospel that you have brought into the light those seeds that were planted in me are now coming to fruit in my spirit as yay yay, yes & amen, as I hear this fabulous wonderful love and work that Jesus brought to us, for us, as he always planned to do an accomplished the will of the father, we are his children, it is finished, a great picture of His love for us, keep listening, keep hearing for the truth will set you free in the innner most parts of your being you will know, we have just begun to know, I am hopeful to grow, and for that I am grateful
