About Owen Pratt
Raised in a small liturgical Presbyterian church Owen has always had a reverence and playful curiosity for truth and a heart that wasn’t afraid to question the ruling institution and think for itself. High school and college gave him a social acceptance to explore parts of himself that were previously off limits. Exploring all the freedom he could find until a couple of college evangelists approached him and reintroduced him to ideas that he had forgotten about. As he got more involved with this Pentecostal group he realized that the promise of freedom and love seemed to always be followed by an “if you _____”. If you accept, believe, ask, give, have faith, etc. After graduating from FSU, he returned to Palm Beach County where he became an upcoming and influential young adult leader in a growing non-denominational mega church in his area. His talents in music and leadership ability were pointing towards a promising future in the congregation he was attending. Then he met Michael Lilborn Williams… And all of that came crashing down. Like a dog let off the leash, freedom abounded and the limits couldn’t be found. The truth, freedom, love, and grace he always wanted were found in the one true Gospel. Now an active contributor to the Gospel Revolution, Owen continues to give back and spread the message that set him free with hopes that the whole world might be renewed by Truth and washed in Grace.
