In this Gospel Revolution Powercast, Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett pick up on a subject they were discussing last week. Mike talks about the subject of mystics, most of which come from some religious background such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, etc., and they all seem to affirm the validity of those religions, yet those religions don’t affirm them. The mystics all arrive at the conclusion of being one and talk about “one-ness”. Yet those religions, rather than affirm the mystics, reject them essentially because being one is counter to their doctrine. Although the mystics agree we are one, they also stop at affirming the cross. Prominent mystics discuss that we are all one, yet say they have no words to explain it; rather, they tell you how to find that understanding. The gospel has the words to explain one-ness, yet does not tell you how to “experience” it. Being one is a truth, and yes, it something you can experience, but your experience or lack thereof does not make it any less true. Paul found the words to explain it. Find out in this Powercast why Mike called Paul “the consummate mystic.
